Collage as fine art

A number of people have asked me about collage as an art form. It’s not something you see as often as acrylic, oils or even watercolour. It’s interesting that one of the first artists to use collage was the master himself, Pablo Picasso who saw the benefits of using different collage materials in his art, even wallpaper! 

For me - collage is a wonderful medium as it’s using materials that are often discarded. What a fabulous way to decrease waste and use papers that already have a past. By the way, if you have any spare old books or magazines, please let me know, I’d love to incorporate them into my art!
